“part from a series”
A series of molten metal sculptures that explore the hidden cycles
of metals. Shaped by heat, environment, and time, capturing the moment of transformation, where solid forms soften, collapse, and reform, revealing the material’s organic, almost human-like behavior. The sculptures uncover the hidden spirits within metals, showing how these seemingly static materials are alive and always in a state
of becoming, reflecting cycles of birth, decay, and regeneration.

Drawn from the hidden labor of metals and minerals in both the body and the machine. The works take inspiration from metalloenzymes, while simultaneously reflecting the industrial systems that metals power on a global scale.
Like silent operators, metals perform essential biochemical reactions within us, while also driving the technologies that shape our everyday lives.

Mono sound, sourced from
the resonant frequencies
of various metal forms.
Played through a single speaker.
The sound of metal is the voice of its form.
I was listening to its vibrations, tracing the invisible echoes of weight and pressure. Produced by metal bodies, these frequencies reveal the silent dialogue between material, force, and time. In their resonance, the material carries memory and presence.

This work explores the tension between disintegration
and persistence within the process of bodily decomposition.
The fragmented vertebrae suspend a moment where organic structure dissolves yet remains present through form. As the body collapses, bone becomes an enduring witness, holding traces of what was once alive. The work reflects on the invisible forces that continue to inhabit material even after decay, suggesting that beyond the disappearance of flesh.

This work highlights the agency of both
human and non-human elements in the
ongoing process of transformation. The
shedding
of skin and the presence of non-human remnants represent the active role that all forms play in cycles of decay and disintegration.

This piece maps the inner architecture of
bone canals through a web of linear metal
forms. Almost like a mesh, it reflects the
body’s own systems of flow and
connection, presenting an abstract yet
intimate diagram of what lies beneath the
surface.

This drawing series investigates the internal architectures shared across human and non-human forms. Through magnified textures and anatomical diagrams, the works trace the subtle dialogues between biology, structure, and agency, where human and non-human systems overlap.

Stratum Corneum Studies
I find the micro world to be really fascinating. That we are all, most of the time, oblivious to the fact that there are entirely separate microcosms that exist all inside of us. using specimens of the stratum corneum and natural rubber in its varied forms viewed under the microscope, this work reveals the skin’s layered cells shedding
and renewing in quiet cycles.Dermal Interface captures the skin’s inner architecture and ongoing dialogue with the environment, exposing the patterns that protect and transform the body
